The Hanbok Study extension for Chrome and other Chromium browsers lets you analyze text on any web page with your Hanbok account. This section explains what it does with your data. Everything else in this policy also applies to it.
Requests go only to hanbokstudy.com and use your existing Hanbok sign-in. The extension does not send us the address of the page you are on, your browsing history, or any other text on the page.
To highlight the words you are learning, the extension keeps a copy of your saved word list in your browser's local extension storage and compares it with the text of the pages you visit. This matching happens entirely on your device; page content is never sent anywhere for highlighting. Your extension settings (languages, highlighting on or off) are stored with your browser's sync storage.
We do not sell extension data, use it for advertising, or transfer it to third parties except the service providers described in section 5 that we need to run Hanbok (for example, the AI provider that produces analyses). We do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending. Our use of information received through the extension adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
You can remove the extension at any time from your browser's extensions page, which deletes its local data. Data saved to your Hanbok account can be deleted from your account or by contacting us.
Our services are not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
